Named after the outgoing and free spirited character from Tolstoy's "War and Peace," Natasha Sims was born eager for life, coming into this world three months premature in Gainesville, Florida on January 11th.
Like her namesake she cherishes play and fun, which was evident even at the young age of three, when she performed on tabletops and announced that she was going to be a "Movie star" when she grew up.
When her family moved to Dallas, Texas, Natasha became involved in the theatre. On stage she came to life, transforming herself into her characters and solidifying her passion for storytelling.

Relocating to Seattle, Washington, she attended the Evergreen State College and earned her BA in Theatre Arts. Her storytelling journey continues in Seattle both through the stage and the screen.
Natasha feels blessed for her loving and supportive family. Her father is a living example to her of a man who follows his dreams, realizing his own of becoming a pilot. Her sister, a fiery outgoing individual, possesses an eye for composition, among other gifts, and was the photographer for many of Natasha's photo shoots. Their mother possesses creativity, strength and an unparalleled giving spirit, telling her children, "If you want it badly enough, you can make it happen."
Being an actor allows Natasha to see the world anew through the eyes of each of her characters. Each role helps her to grow and understand life from all its different angles. She hopes that the impact her characters have on her can change others as well.
